My Story
A career built around seeing what could be, and helping create the capacity to get there.
Foundation to Future grew from more than a decade of executive leadership, civic work, organizational growth, media, technology, and helping people turn good ideas into something real.
The Beginning
A young CEO role became a proving ground for practical leadership.
Ben Frazier began his professional career with the Family YMCA of Fayette County in 2013 and was selected as the organization's CEO just two years later, at age 24.
Taking responsibility for an organization in a significantly resource-constrained environment required more than managing what already existed. The work became a broad organizational rebirth built around strategic planning, operational assessment, financial discipline, governance, program evaluation, positioning, and a clearer vision for the future.
From Foundation to Capacity
As the foundation strengthened, the organization could think bigger.
Under Ben's leadership, the YMCA moved through major organizational and physical growth, including a capital initiative that raised more than $1.5 million for expansion and improvements.
Today, the organization generates more than 70,000 annual visits and has grown into a broader 26-acre campus, with Unity Park representing its next major phase of community-focused development. The results matter, but the experience behind them shaped something larger: strategy, people, finances, communication, partnerships, systems, and execution all have to work together if an ambitious idea is going to become sustainable progress.
Beyond One Organization
The work started reaching into other organizations, leaders, and communities.
Over time, Ben's work increasingly extended beyond his role at the YMCA. He has advised other YMCAs, nonprofits, businesses, CEOs, and emerging leaders on organizational strategy, operations, leadership, positioning, capital development, communications, technology, and growth.
His civic involvement has included serving as president of the Vandalia Rotary Club and as a board member of both the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce and the Vandalia Civic Advancement Association.
The Pattern
Organizations and communities often have more potential than they are realizing.
The people may already be there. The ideas may be good. The assets and relationships may already exist. What is missing is often clarity, connection, structure, capacity, or momentum.
That observation became the foundation for Foundation to Future.
Why Foundation to Future
F2F grew from the work people were already asking Ben to do.
Foundation to Future was not created to become a traditional consulting firm. It grew naturally from requests to evaluate an organization, think through a project, mentor a leader, connect partners, challenge a strategy, improve a system, develop a message, or help turn an idea into something actionable.
The common thread was not having all the answers. It was helping people see the whole picture, recognize patterns, connect resources, understand systems, ask different questions, and translate potential into practical next steps.
The Common Thread
Potential is usually already there.
Sometimes it lives in people. Sometimes it lives in an organization, partnership, project, technology, story, or community asset that has not yet been fully leveraged.

The goal is not to create dependence on an advisor. It is to build greater capacity because the advisor was there.
